CCR - Question 3

 Q3. How do your products engage with the audience and how would it be distributed as a real media product? 

As per our branding, we had researched the best way to market our product and we realised that the best way to market a product of this sort was to utilise social media platforms to their full capabilities since the best artists use them to attract new consumers to their product. Keeping this in mind, during our shoot, we had recorded multiple Behind the scenes so that we would have content to post towards our social media page to build up more publicity towards our product. We had also taken multiple photos for a good poster and for the front cover of our Digi Pack. This helped us gain a lot of followers and because of multiple friends sharing our posts helped us boost our social media page. As students we knew that the best and more budget friendly way of advertising was to utilise social media platforms. 

Using the social media platform (Instagram) really helped our project gain recognition and because of all the teasers that we had posted and also because many people were sharing our project on their personal accounts which was helping us market the product really well. The posts on our social media we’re to catch the attention of our targeted market by using different camera angles and showing them that it is a real media product. The project itself is scheduled to be uploaded and we have a lot of our friends who would be able to give us really good feedback from our targeted group regarding their opinion on the product. We also relied on Whatsapp to communicate our product to engage more viewers and to also communicate the product with each other. We had utilised YouTube for inspiration for our music video and to know the best way possible for us to carry out our shoot and get the outcome we desired. We also used YouTube to post our music video and to gain recognition from it as well since YouTube is the second largest search engine.
